Students are learning about the Day of the Dead, and about Mexican culture. We are making these projects, I made a cat, and let the students choose what animal to do!
Gerson's friends!Last week, we painted some lines. This week, we put those lines together to make an owl! We are coloring our owls with oil pastels! Anzalone's friends! We watched a fun video about lines, and then worked with a partner and a whiteboard to draw as many lines as we could think of! We shared our ideas with the class, and then everyone made their own line drawing. We then painted between the lines with tempera cakes! Mrs. Gerson's friends! Ms. Anzalone's friends!Today we painted rocks with my Day 5 classes! This is Clanton and Hansen. We painted rocks with the intention that we will hide them in our communities to bring color to someone's day! We are taking our art to the community, and spreading joy one rock at a time!
