Students were learning about butterflies in their classes, and even watching caterpillars go through metamorphosis! They asked me if we could do a butterfly project, and I said of course! I even got to watch the butterflies hatch with Mrs. Engelage's class!
Turns out we have a lot of HGTV fans! These students blew me away with their architecture treehouses! We looked at styles of architecture in American homes and the students designed their dream treehouse. I had one student say that he was building a Pueblo style house, so he wanted to build it in a cactus instead of a tree. What a creative idea!
5th graders created these dragon eyes for our Square 1 art projects at the start of the school year. They turned out incredibly!! We used bleeding tissue paper for the background, and then used paint, and colored pencils to finish them.
